Gerald Neily & Peter Tocco of Baltimore’s Urbanite bring us this article on the efforts of BaltiMorphosis. The City of Baltimore has a plan to put in a train that runs along the median of US 40, known by some as the “Highway to Nowhere.” While this is an alright plan, they could do so much better. That is where BaltiMorphosis comes in. They have made it so that citizens can download a basic layout of the area and play around with it to create a mixed-use TOD instead of just a train. They feature a great example of what the difference could look like:
